Austin Shin is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in systems integration and navigation technologies. Currently working at Petal Surgical as a Special Ops, Systems Integration professional, Austin previously served as a Senior Navigation and Controls Engineer at Johnson & Johnson, where significant contributions included leading cross-functional efforts to enhance system accuracy and user interface design for new product features. Austin's expertise encompasses deep learning, algorithm development, and real-time performance metrics, with a strong background in machine learning applications from roles at Nike and various internships at companies such as Auris Health and Northrop Grumman. Academically, Austin holds a Master of Science in Robotics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
