Allen Newton

Allen Newton, MBA, has an extensive work experience history. Allen started their career at Scottrade as a Financial Analyst, where they conducted market research and assisted clients with investment decisions. Allen then joined Teach For America as a Corps Member, where they focused on educating and empowering students in underrepresented areas. Following that, they worked at SunTrust as a Mortgage Loan Processor III, providing excellent customer service and customizing solutions for clients. Allen then joined CoStar Group as a Portfolio Research Associate, managing a large portfolio of companies and building a database of commercial real estate information. Their most recent role was at Petal, where they served as the Senior Risk Operations Manager, overseeing fraud and chargeback management strategies and policies. Allen also took on the role of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, developing and implementing the organization's DEI strategy. Throughout their career, Allen has demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering results.

Allen Newton, MBA, began their educational journey in 2009 when they enrolled at North Carolina State University. From 2009 to 2014, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. During the same period, they also obtained another Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance. After completing their undergraduate studies, Allen Newton decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills in business. In 2021, they enrolled at Virginia Tech to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Allen is expected to complete their MBA program in 2023.
