Avinash Thawani

Avinash Thawani has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Avinash started their career as an Engineering Intern at Schneider Electric in 2007, where they utilized engineering fundamentals and problem-solving methods for work assignments and projects. Avinash also gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Caterpillar Inc. during the same year.

In 2009, they joined Purdue University as a Senior Design and successfully designed a video-controlled voice prompted RC car navigator as part of a senior design project. Avinash then moved on to IRD Mechanalysis Limited in 2011, where they held multiple roles. Avinash started as an Engineer, contributing to the development of modern machinery protection and monitoring systems. In 2012, they became a Senior Project Engineer, working closely with the sales team to achieve annual operating plans and designing on-line vibration monitoring systems for turn-key projects. From 2014 to 2015, Avinash served as a Project Manager, focusing on top and bottom line profitability, account management, and customer satisfaction.

Since 2015, Avinash has been associated with Petasense as an Analyst and now as the Manager Analyst Services. In their current role, they provide on-line condition monitoring diagnosis, vibration analysis assessment reports, and critical intimations for Petasense customer accounts. Avinash also collaborates with the Customer Success Team to ensure customer satisfaction and works towards democratizing the technology provided by Petasense.

Avinash also has additional certifications including IRD Mechanalysis Vibration Training Level 1, obtained in May 2011 from IRD Mechanalysis Limited, and ISO 18436-2 Category II Vibration Analyst, obtained in October 2017 from Mobius Institute - Reliability Improvement and Condition Monitoring Training.
