Andi Flory

CMO at PetDx

Andi Flory is the Chief Medical Officer and a Co-Founder of PetDx. Andi is also a veterinary oncologist who has worked in the field for over 10 years.

Flory graduated from the University of California, Davis with their DVM in 2008. Andi then went on to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Veterinary Specialty Hospital North County in San Diego. After their internship, they became a medical oncologist and the founder of the Medical Oncology service at Veterinary Specialty Hospital North County. In 2015, they co-created and became the director of an Oncology internship program at the hospital.

In 2017, Flory took a position as an Oncology Consultant with Oncology Consultations. Andi provided cancer consults for referring veterinarians and their clients. In 2018, they became a Locum Medical Oncologist and Resident Advisor at the Veterinary Specialist Centre in Sydney, Australia.

Flory returned to the United States in 2019 and took a position as Co-Chief of the Department of Oncology, Staff Oncologist, and Resident Advisor at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. Andi remained in this position until 2020 when they became the CMO of PetDx.

PetDx is a team of veterinarians, scientists, and business leaders dedicated to revolutionizing early detection of cancer in pets. They develop noninvasive cancer testing solutions that allow cancer detection using a simple blood draw, and incorporate many of the latest advances from the human liquid biopsy space.
