Olivia Braniff

Olivia Braniff is a Research Assistant currently working in the Dawson Lab at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre since July 2023. Previously, Olivia served as a Research Assistant at the University of Victoria from September 2022 to June 2023, focusing on the roles of brain microglia under the supervision of Dr. Marie-Ève Tremblay. Earlier experience includes a role as a SARS-CoV-2 Lab Analyst at Environment and Climate Change Canada, contributing to Covid-19 testing efforts, and as a Microbiology Lab Technician, where analysis of coastal marine water samples was conducted. Olivia holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Victoria, earned in 2022.
