Sumera Ali

Sumera Ali is a Medical Laboratory Technician at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, contributing to the Parkville Cancer Clinical Trial Unit since July 2022, where responsibilities include central lab sample processing, ensuring proper labeling, shipping, and documentation, as well as managing samples that cannot be processed in the lab. Prior to this role, Sumera served as a Laboratory Assistant at Symbio Laboratories from January 2022 to May 2022, focusing on media preparation and adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards. Sumera holds a Certificate IV in Lab Techniques from LTT and LTTV, completed in June 2020, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Karachi University, obtained in December 2010.
