Alfredo A. Vargas is an experienced educator currently serving as the Upper School Cambridge Coordinator at Peterson Schools since November 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of Cambridge International Programs within Middle and High School grades. Additionally, Alfredo teaches IB Theory of Knowledge and IGCSE History. Prior experience includes a role as a Content Development Specialist at FamilySearch, where oversight of a team focused on creating datasets for machine learning was achieved. Alfredo has also worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Brigham Young University, an English Language Arts Teacher at Robert Schuman Middle School, and has held positions at the Missionary Training Center and as a Venture Capitals Intern for Alta Ventures. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Education and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Buckingham, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Brigham Young University.

We are a K-12 International, multicultural, fully-bilingual school comprised of four campuses. Our school is founded on values that represent and ground our community. Additionally, we became the first Google Reference School outside the U.S. and the U.K., and the fist school K-12 to have a Coding Lab under the program Everyone Can Code® as an Apple Pilot School.
