Andrii Seleznov

Andrii Seleznov has a diverse work experience in various roles within the IT industry. Andrii started their career as a Junior Ruby-on-Rails Developer at JayaDigital in 2013, where they gained valuable experience in web and AJAX development. Andrii then moved on to Fuse Universal in 2014 as a Ruby-On-Rails Developer, where they developed mobile APIs for a cloud-based social learning application.

In 2016, Andrii joined Quiqup as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, focusing on backend development. Andrii worked with third-party APIs and developed custom-authenticated APIs using authentication tokens. Andrii also gained experience in database design and developed admin dashboards.

Andrii further expanded their skill set as a Remote Geospatial Web Developer at Terrabotics in 2016. Andrii worked on a Terrain Intelligence Web Platform, developing features like Terrain Profile Tool, Flooding Levels Tool, and 3D WebGL visualization.

From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Backend Developer at Drover, where they built API integrations and improved website performance. Andrii also developed a sync data system between Google spreadsheets and the production database.

Starting in 2018, they joined Fuse Universal again, this time as a Senior Backend Developer. Andrii improved the performance of the monolithic application and worked on microservices. Andrii also mentored junior team members during their time there.

In 2021, Andrii founded NAFTA, where they served as the Founder until 2023. Andrii then joined Neudata as a Ruby on Rails Developer, where they optimized the RSpec Testing Suite, resulting in a significant decrease in running time.

Currently, they are working at Funding Circle UK as a Software Engineer, starting in 2022. Overall, Andrii's work experience showcases their expertise in Ruby on Rails development, backend engineering, and their ability to optimize and improve existing systems.

Andrii Seleznov completed their education in a sequential manner. Andrii first attended Donetsk National Technical University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Geodesy, Cartography, and Land Management. Andrii then pursued further education at the same institution from 2006 to 2008, during which they earned a Master's degree with Honors in Geographic Information Science and Cartography.

In addition to their formal education, Andrii has also obtained various certifications. In March 2016, they became an "Expert in Teamwork" after completing a program at Lviv business-school of UCU (LvBS). More recently, in 2023, they acquired several certifications from DeepLearning.AI. These include "Advanced Learning Algorithms" and "Machine Learning Specialization," both completed in June 2023, and "Supervised Machine Learning: Regression and Classification," finished in April 2023.
