Ernst Venter

Ernst Venter is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in both production and exploration geology. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Petra Diamonds since July 2015, Ernst oversees geological operations at the Finsch Diamond mine in South Africa. Prior to this, Ernst managed various local exploration projects and a bulk sample plant as an Exploration Geologist. Between February 2007 and March 2015, Ernst held the position of Consulting Geologist and Director at Rock and Stock Investments. Additionally, Ernst gained valuable experience at Anglo Platinum as a Senior Geologist, focusing on structural modeling and project geology for multiple shafts. Ernst holds a BSc Honours degree in Geology from the University of the Witwatersrand, completed in 1999.
