Gabriel Marins

Gabriel Marins is a geologist with significant experience in the field, currently working at Petrobras since May 2012. Prior to this, Gabriel served as a research fellow at Fundacao Carlos Chagas Filho De Amparo A Pesquisa Do Estado Do Rio De Janeiro-Faperj from 2010 to 2012, focusing on a project related to mafics in southeastern Brazil. Additional experience includes volunteering with the United States Department of Geological Survey, where data compilation and digitization tasks were performed, and a brief stint at McDonald's involving food preparation and cleanliness. Gabriel also held a paleontology monitor position at Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro and participated in a research project on Quaternary planktonic foraminifera. Educational qualifications include ongoing doctoral studies at Universidade Federal Fluminense, a master's degree in geosciences from UERJ, and a bachelor's degree in geology from Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro.
