Mauricio Paiva

Mauricio Paiva is a seasoned Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with over a decade of experience in the maritime industry. Currently employed at Petrobras since August 2011, Mauricio has honed expertise in naval architecture and marine engineering. Prior to this role, experience includes positions as a Surveyor and Naval Architect at Det Norske Veritas from January 2009 to July 2011, as well as serving as an Engineering Intern in the Technical Analysis Department. Additionally, involvement with LabOceano/COPPE/UFRJ occurred from April 2008 to March 2010. Mauricio Paiva holds a Postgraduate Lato Sensu MBA in Project Management from Ibmec (2019-2020) and a degree in Naval and Ocean Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2005-2010).
