Soheil Karimi is a seasoned drilling professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Wells Project Manager and Drilling Superintendent at Petrofac since February 2020, Soheil manages major drilling campaigns in the Central North Sea. Previous roles include Lead Drilling Engineer for a deep-water development campaign at Petrofac and Senior Well Engineer at OMV, where Soheil led a team in deep-water exploration efforts. Soheil's earlier positions at TAG Oil Ltd., OMV, PETRONAS, Weatherford, and Repsol include contributions to significant projects, such as the first CTD project in New Zealand and the record-setting Sepat EPS project. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from IAU Tehran.
