Marcel van der Meer

Marcel van der Meer is an experienced drilling professional with a career spanning over two decades in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Drilling Manager at Petrogas E&P LLC since February 2016, Marcel has previously held significant roles such as Wellbore Construction Manager at Dana Petroleum Limited and Sr Drilling Engineer in several organizations, including Cirrus Energy and Petro-Canada. Notable achievements include the design and execution of horizontal infill wells with ESP completions and the engineering of complex subsea wells. Marcel's technical expertise is complemented by a degree from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where formal education took place from 1991 to 1995.
