Karla Wurzel

I.T. Manager at Petroglyph Games, Inc.

Karla Wurzel has worked in the Information Technology field since 1996. Karla began their career as a Network Technician at McDonnell Douglas, where they were responsible for maintaining communications, diagnosing and repairing hardware, and maintaining network servers and hardware during the relocation of the facility. Karla then standardized and implemented the Macintosh HW formatting tool for use in the new facility, as well as protecting and staging company backups and successfully redeploying systems in the new facility.

In 1996, Karla moved to Midway Home Entertainment, Inc., where they served as the Director of Information Technology. In this role, they led I.T. Infrastructure and Product Development Support with 15+/- direct reports and 10 remote sites.

Most recently, Karla has been the I.T. Manager at Petroglyph Games since 2011.

Karla Wurzel attended Coleman College from 1995 to 1996, where they earned a CETC + Honors in Computer Electronics. Karla then attended UC San Diego from 1997 to 1999, where they studied UNIX Systems Administration.
