Ali Ghufaili

Ali Ghufaili possesses extensive experience in the petroleum industry, currently serving as Development Planning Team Leader for both the Lekhwair and Amal Thermal Clusters at Petroleum Development Oman since 2008. In previous roles, Ali managed front-end development and performed senior reservoir engineering tasks including SCAL, PVT, well testing, modeling, and economic forecasting. Ali began with Petroleum Development Oman in 2006 as a Reservoir Engineer Trainee before advancing to a Reservoir Engineer position during a summer placement. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering and Petroleum Economics from Heriot-Watt University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bradford.
