Hussain Najwani

Hussain Najwani is an accomplished geoscientist with extensive experience in exploration and geoscience roles within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Exploration Geoscience Advisor and Geoscience Coach at Petroleum Development Oman since July 2023, Hussain has previously held key positions, including Lead Geoscientist at ARA Petroleum Oman Block 44 Limited (December 2018 - June 2023) and multiple leadership roles at Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC from November 2012 to October 2018. Notable expertise includes structural-stratigraphic interpretation, appraisal of subsurface targets, and portfolio development for hydrocarbon exploration. Academic credentials include an MSc in Petroleum Geosciences - Geophysics from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, and a BSc in Physics from The University of Manchester.
