Pankaj Kumar

Pankaj Kumar is a seasoned professional in the field of petroleum engineering, currently serving as WRFM Lead and Senior Production Technologist at Petroleum Development Oman since February 2023. With prior experience at Brunei Shell Petroleum since July 2017 in a similar role, Pankaj has demonstrated expertise in production technology across various projects, including significant contributions at Shell Gabon S.A. from 2010 to 2017, where Pankaj implemented well integrity management strategies and achieved substantial oil production gains. Earlier roles included production technologist positions for notable projects in Nigeria and the Gulf of Mexico, along with involvement in the Gorgon LNG project in Australia. Pankaj holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, achieved in 2006.
