Jorunn Elise Tharaldsen

Jorunn Elise Tharaldsen has extensive experience in occupational health and safety, currently serving as the Head of Occupational Health and Safety at the Petroleum Safety Authority since September 2010. Prior to this role, Jorunn Tharaldsen held the position of Research Director for Worklife and Safety at the International Research Institute of Stavanger from September 2009 to September 2010, and served as a Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist at the same institute from January 1998 to September 2009. Jorunn Tharaldsen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Risk Management and Societal Safety from the University of Stavanger, awarded in 2010, and a Hovedfag degree in Sociology from the University of Bergen, earned in 1996.
