Phil James

Phil James has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Phil worked at PETRONAS Lubricants International from 2013 to 2018 as the Chief Supply Chain Officer and from 2019 onwards as the Chief Business Officer. At PETRONAS, they were responsible for deal making and implementing strategic imperatives to deliver value. Prior to that, Phil worked at BP from 1997 to 2012. Phil held various roles at BP, including Senior Business Advisor and Grangemouth Site Optimisation Manager/Strategy Manager. In these roles, they developed strategic options for the company and was involved in commercial optimization and production planning.

Phil James has earned an MBA in Finance and Operations from Henley Business School. Phil also holds a Master's Degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from UCL, and a BSc in Chemistry from University College Cardiff.
