Gui Siew Peng

Gui Siew Peng has over a decade of experience in the financial sector, currently serving as an Executive Analyst in the Office of the EVP & Group CFO at PETRONAS since November 2012. Responsibilities include preparing annual financial statements, tax estimation, and managing month-end closings. Gui also oversees the decommissioning, dismantling, removal, and restoration (DDRR) provisions for Malaysia Production Sharing Contracts, requiring intricate computations and analytical judgment. Earlier roles involved specialization in Oil and Gas Accounting and project financial accounting for upstream development projects. Gui holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Malaya, where involvement included serving as President of the University of Malaya Accounting Club (UMAC). Additionally, Gui pursued ACCA qualifications from 2012 to 2015.
