Bob Coolidge

Bob Coolidge is an experienced engineer with a robust background in drilling, completion, and project management within the energy sector. Currently at Petrotechnical Resources Of Alaska (PRA), Bob leads the Methane Hydrates Development Project for the US Department of Energy, focusing on front-end loading engineering and permitting for a pioneering methane hydrate production test. Prior roles at BP included managing upstream talent acquisition, serving as a project drilling engineer for Prudhoe Bay developments, and leading operational assessments for high-priority drilling operations. Bob's career spans several leading companies such as Weatherford, Smith Bits, and Baker Hughes, where contributions ranged from drilling optimization to sales and product development. An alumnus of Purdue University, Bob holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
