Peter E.t. Edwards

Peter E.T. Edwards, PhD, is an accomplished economist specializing in conservation science with extensive experience in natural resource economics. Currently serving as an Economist and Officer within The Pew Charitable Trusts since September 2019, Peter has a solid background in integrating social sciences and economics into conservation efforts, particularly through roles at NOAA between 2009 and 2019, where duties included coordinating the Coral Reef Conservation Program. Previous roles also include positions at Lynker Technologies, The Baldwin Group, and IM Systems Group, along with significant academic involvement, earning a PhD in Marine Studies with a focus on Resource Economics from the University of Delaware. Edwards holds additional degrees in Marine Sciences and Zoology from the University of the West Indies, highlighting a strong foundation in marine ecology and policy.
