Roger-Mark V. de Souza

Roger-Mark "R-M" V. De Souza currently serves as the Vice President of Environment at The Pew Charitable Trusts, focusing on U.S. ecosystem conservation. Previously, Roger-Mark held the position of Vice President of Sustainable Markets at Pact, overseeing environmental and livelihood programs across nearly 40 countries. Additional roles include Chief Movement Building Officer at Amnesty International USA, President and CEO of Sister Cities International, and Director of Global Sustainability and Resilience Programs at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Roger-Mark began their career with the Population Reference Bureau and the World Resources Institute, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental and development issues. Roger-Mark holds a Master's in International Development Policy from The George Washington University and various degrees in International Relations and languages from the University of the West Indies.
