Sebastian Nicholls

Sebastian Nicholls has extensive experience in conservation finance and marine protection, currently serving as an Officer with the Enduring Earth project at The Pew Charitable Trusts since June 2020, focusing on innovative finance solutions for the Eastern Tropical Pacific. Previously, Sebastian worked as a Principal Associate and Senior Associate, advocating for the protection of at least 30% of the ocean by 2030 through global treaties. At Sea Blue Consultants, Sebastian led efforts for clients such as Mission Blue and Marine Conservation Institute. An early career at Accenture involved significant contributions as a Management Consultant and Analyst, supporting Fortune 50 companies in transformative strategies, as well as delivering insights at The Economist World Ocean Summit on sustainable ocean finance. Sebastian's academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology and International Affairs from Georgetown University, complemented by educational experiences at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
