Supraja Sowmiyanarayanan

Supraja Sowmiyanarayanan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government relations and policy advocacy, currently serving as an Associate at The Pew Charitable Trusts since October 2024. Prior to this role, Supraja worked as a Program Assistant at the National Organization for Rare Disorders, where support was provided to enhance policy initiatives for the rare diseases community. Additionally, Supraja interned with UCB, contributing to analyses of regulatory guidance impacting patient access to treatments, and completed a legislative internship in the U.S. House of Representatives focused on environmental, technology, and healthcare legislation. Early career experience includes a customer service role at Xtend Healthcare, where support was provided for COVID-19 vaccination scheduling, and involvement in organizing a major Model United Nations conference at American University.
