Video Lead at Pew Research Center

Kimberly Arias is a Video Lead at Pew Research Center, responsible for developing strategic two-year plans to enhance short video content and expand social media reach. With a background as Pew Research Center's first full-time video producer, Kimberly focused on creating engaging explainer videos to present complex data. Kimberly served as President of AIGA DC from 2018 to 2020, managing a team of 27 and promoting professional development for local designers. Previously, as Visual Design Manager at Voto Latino, Kimberly led a design team to create multimedia marketing campaigns aimed at encouraging Latino voter registration. Kimberly’s career began as a Graphic Designer at ULLICO, a union-owned insurance company. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Art in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Design and Digital Media from the University of Maryland and has pursued professional development in the Business of Art and Design.
