Matt Schellhas

Matt Schellhas has worked in the software engineering and IT fields for over 20 years. Matt began their career in 1999 as a Senior Systems Administrator at Recourse Technologies. In 2002, they moved to Symantec as a QA Engineer. Matt then joined SHPS in 2006 as a Senior Programmer/Analyst. After that, they worked at 3M as a Senior Software Engineer from 2010 to 2014. Matt then joined NativeX as a Senior Software Engineer in 2014. In 2015, they moved to Patterson Companies, Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer and Software Architect. In 2018, they joined Facebook as a Senior Software Engineer - Programming Languages & Runtimes. Finally, in 2020 they joined Pex as a Senior Software Engineering Manager and Director of Software Engineering. In each role, they were responsible for a variety of tasks, such as adjusting leveling guidelines, coaching tech leads, guiding teams through first releases, influencing engineering organizations, optimizing mobile ad server performance, and introducing agile/SCRUM.

Matt Schellhas attended Augsburg University from 2012 to 2020, where they studied Computer Science. Matt also attended Clarkson University from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Aeronautical Engineering.
