Jill Blackmore Evans has a wealth of experience in the media industry. In 2019, they were the External Curation Lead and Community and Editorial Manager at Pexels, where they managed Pexels' online magazine, Pexels Stories, and worked on a range of community and marketing initiatives across the platform. Jill has also been self-employed since 2010 as a freelance writer, with their work appearing in publications such as VICE, Crack Magazine, FASHION Magazine, and others. In 2018, they were the Program Coordinator at the National Media Awards Foundation. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Social and Content Coordinator and Format Magazine Editor at Format, where they managed editorial content production and worked on partnerships with brands such as Polaroid Originals, Creative Review, British Journal of Photography, and Pexels. In 2015, they were an Editorial Intern at Exberliner, the largest English language magazine in Berlin, where they assisted with posting online content and also pitched, wrote, and edited articles for the monthly print magazine. From 2013 to 2014, they were an Assistant Editor at both Zeitgeist Journal and imagiNATIONS Journal, where they helped select and edit articles written in both German and English, and edited essays for publication in the 2014 edition of the journal.

Jill Blackmore Evans completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from the University of Toronto - Victoria University between 2011 and 2016. Additionally, they attended Freie Universität Berlin International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS) in 2013 and obtained a German Language Intermediate B1 in German Language and Literature.
