Lou Ellis

VP Quality and Project Management at Peytant Solutions, Inc.

Lou Ellis has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. They started their career at Boston Scientific-Corporate in 1989, where they served as an R&D Manager responsible for leading cross-functional teams in bringing new medical devices to market. In 2004, Lou became the Director of Program Management, overseeing the Global Quality Restructuring Program, Project Management Office (PMO), and Global Quality Systems Improvement Project Portfolio. They also led initiatives to harmonize and improve International Quality Systems and resolve an FDA Corporate Warning Letter. In 2015, Lou joined Greatbatch, Inc. as the Director of Quality Programs. They then moved on to Smiths Medical in 2016, first serving as the Senior Director of R&D PMO and later as the Senior Director of Business Unit Quality. Currently, Lou is the Vice President of Quality and Project Management at Peytant Solutions, Inc., a position they assumed in 2020.

Lou Ellis completed a Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Materials Science Engineering at the University of Minnesota from 1983 to 1989. Later, from 1991 to 1994, Lou pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business.
