Philippe Fonta

Philippe Fonta serves as the Director of Industries, Transports & Logistics, and Financial Services EMEA at BSR since August 2022, focusing on strategic perspectives and collaborative initiatives for BSR members while promoting sustainability management. As the Founder and CEO of SCRUM-consult since July 2019, Philippe Fonta provides strategic insights to organizations on integrating sustainability into global strategies. Prior experience includes a management role at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development from March 2011 to December 2018, overseeing projects in the cement and tire industries, and managing multi-stakeholder platforms. Philippe Fonta also held various leadership positions at AIRBUS from February 1992 to February 2011, enhancing sustainable development strategies and environmental affairs. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Sustainable Management and a Master's degree in Sustainable Development, alongside an engineering degree in aerospace.
