Steffen Funk

Steffen Funk is an experienced professional in the field of wood science and technology, currently serving as Produktionsleiter at Pfeifer Group since January 2022. Prior to this role, Steffen Funk held positions as a Production Specialist at IKEA Industry from November 2017 to October 2021, and as a Technologist in Board Production at EGGER Group from May 2013 to November 2017, after completing a trainee program there. Early career experiences include internships at ANDRITZ and RISE Bioeconomy (Innventia) in 2012 and 2010, respectively. Steffen Funk obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Wood Science and Technology from the University of Hamburg from 2011 to 2013 and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in the same field from the University of Hamburg, completed in 2011, with additional studies undertaken at Stellenbosch University during 2011-2012.
