Kentaro Futatsugi

Kentaro Futatsugi is a seasoned professional in the field of medicinal chemistry, currently serving as the Senior Director and Head of Inflammation & Immunology Medicinal Chemistry Design at Pfizer since October 2007. Prior to this role, Kentaro held several positions at Pfizer, including Associate Research Fellow, Senior Principal Scientist, Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist. Kentaro's career in the pharmaceutical industry began at Pfizer Japan Inc., where service as a Scientist took place from July 2006 to September 2007. Kentaro holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Chicago (2002-2006) and a Bachelor of Science in Organic Chemistry from Nagoya University (1997-2001).
