Roberto Silveira

Senior Vice President Global Technology & Engineering at Pfizer

Roberto Silveira has over two decades of work experience at Pfizer. Roberto started with the company in 1994 as the Manager of Technical Support Asia/LA. Roberto then progressed to various positions, including Director of Bioprocess Support and Sr. Director/TL Bioprocess Support Manufacturing. In 2009, they became the Vice President of Bios & Sterile Injectable Technology, a role they held until 2018. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Vice President of Global Technology & Engineering before being promoted to Senior Vice President in September 2022.

Roberto Silveira obtained a Ph.D. in Fermentation Technology from Hiroshima University, where they attended from 1988 to 1992. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, graduating between 1978 and 1982.
