Steven Bartz

Steven Bartz currently serves as the Head of Oncology Search and Evaluation at Pfizer since December 2023. Prior to this role, Steven was the Vice President of Corporate Development at Seattle Genetics from June 2020 to December 2023. Steven's extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry also includes positions at Merck, where Steven worked from January 2007 to June 2020, holding titles such as Executive Director of Business Development and Licensing, Director of Worldwide Licensing, and Director of Lead Development for RNA Therapeutics. Earlier in Steven's career, from February 1995 to June 2001, Steven conducted post-doctoral research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Steven earned a PhD in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between January 1989 and January 1995, and a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from January 1985 to January 1989.
