Yexenia Nieves-Quinones

Yexenia Nieves-Quinones is a highly experienced chemist currently serving as a Principal Scientist in Process Chemistry at Pfizer since January 2023. Prior to this role, Yexenia worked as an Investigator in Chemistry Development at GSK from October 2020 to December 2022 and as a Senior Process Chemist at Exemplify Biopharma, Inc. from July 2019 to September 2020. Yexenia's academic background includes a postdoctoral research position at the University of Pennsylvania focused on the rational design of methods and catalysts, and a graduate research assistant role at Texas A&M University, emphasizing dynamic effects in organic reactions. Yexenia has also mentored undergraduate students during this time, contributing to their research projects, and served as a teaching assistant in organic chemistry.
