Mateusz Andrychowicz

Mateusz Andrychowicz, PhD, is currently the Manager of the Technical Analysis Unit at PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna, where responsibilities include selecting energy storage solutions to enhance electricity quality in the distribution grid, analyzing renewable energy sources (RES) integration, and managing power flow projects. Previously, as an Independent Specialist in the Development and Innovation Department, Mateusz conducted market analyses and techno-economic assessments of energy storage systems. From November 2019 to September 2021, Mateusz served as a Lecturer at Lodz University of Technology, focusing on the optimization of distribution systems with high levels of RES. An early career experience includes an Analyst position at Polenergia Obrót S.A., where market analyses were performed. Mateusz holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Lodz University of Technology, as well as earlier degrees in Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering from the same institution.
