Mike Barnum

Mike Barnum, MSc, is an accomplished professional in emergency management and regulatory compliance, currently serving as Principal Program Manager at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since October 2020. With a comprehensive background in incident investigations and safety programs, Mike has previously held roles as a Principal Compliance Analyst and Manager of Electric Incident Investigations, ensuring adherence to California Public Utility Commission requirements. Prior to this, Mike gained significant experience at Marathon Petroleum Corporation and Andeavor as a Supervisor and Senior Project Engineer, where impactful initiatives resulted in enhanced production and compliance. Additionally, Mike's military background as a Regimental Engineer Officer in the US Army further exemplifies strong leadership and project management skills, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University and a Master’s in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Denver.
