Rama G. has extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly in substation design and development. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Substation Standard Development and Application at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since February 2017, Rama has previously held multiple engineering roles at the same company, contributing to substation standards and clean energy transportation. Prior experience includes positions at Mesa Associates, Inc., where Rama worked as a Project Engineer and Lead Electrical Engineer, overseeing multi-disciplinary engineering projects and designing substations for various clients. Additional roles at Black & Veatch and earlier experience at Tennessee Technological University further solidified expertise in engineering substations and power systems. Rama holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
