Ahsan Hadi has extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies.

Ahsan began their career at British Telecom in 1998 as an Analyst/Programmer, where they worked on developing web-based database applications for network fault management.

In 2003, they joined Fusion Technologies as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing multiple projects and managing the software development life cycle.

In 2005, Ahsan joined EnterpriseDB as a Director of Product Development, where they played a key role in the analysis and benchmarking that led to the adoption of PostgreSQL as the company's flagship RDBMS system. Ahsan was later promoted to Senior Director of Product Development, overseeing the development of client-side connectors and other products.

In 2011, they took on the additional responsibilities of General Manager of the offshore development office at EnterpriseDB, ensuring smooth operations and team alignment.

Ahsan then joined HighGo Software Inc in 2019 as the VP of Development, leading the development efforts and driving the growth of the company until 2021.

Following that, they became a Partner and Senior Consultant at OSCG Partners, LLC in 2021, where they provided consulting services and contributed to the company as a partner.

In 2021, Ahsan also co-founded and became the Director of Development of the PGSQL.IO Open Source project.

Lastly, in 2022, they joined pgEdge as the Director of Support & Services, where they currently work.

Throughout their career, Ahsan Hadi has demonstrated expertise in agile development, database infrastructure products, and project management.

Ahsan Hadi pursued their education at various institutions throughout their academic career. From 1985 to 1990, they attended the Islamabad College of Boys (ICB), although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned during this period. In 1996, they enrolled in the University of Westminster, where they completed a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) degree in Information System Engineering in 1999. Continuing their educational journey, Ahsan then joined UCL in 2000 and completed a Master's degree in Telecommunication and BT Networks in 2001.
