Korry Douglas

Korry Douglas is a Senior Software Engineer at pgEdge since February 2023, with extensive experience in PostgreSQL and database engineering. As a Contributor and Author for the PostgreSQL Global Development Group since 2001, Korry has authored multiple editions of the "PostgreSQL" book and contributed to various tools and features such as the PL/pgSQL debugger and performance analysis tools. Prior to pgEdge, Korry worked at Amazon Web Services as a Database Engineer, leading the design of Babelfish for PostgreSQL, and held the position of Principal Software Engineer at State Street, where Korry led a team to enhance PostgreSQL performance. Earlier roles include Chief Architect at EnterpriseDB, where Korry designed row-level security for PostgreSQL, and Director of R&D at APPX Software, overseeing development for a prominent 4GL environment with significant clients like UPS and Nationwide Insurance.
