Juan Suris

Juan Suris has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Juan began their career as a Software Developer at Motorola in 1996 and then moved on to work as a Financial Analyst at Prudential Financial from 1999 to 2002. In 2002, Juan co-founded Tailor Made Servers, a company they were involved with until 2004. Juan then joined the University of Puerto Rico as an Assistant Professor from 2008 to 2010. Since 2011, Juan has been working at PGIM Fixed Income, starting as a Quantitative Researcher and later becoming the Head of Quantitative Modeling and Strategies.

Juan Suris has a PhD in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Before that, from 1998 to 1999, they completed a Master of Science degree in Statistics at the University of Chicago. In 1997 to 1998, they pursued another Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering at Northwestern University. Juan Suris received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico from 1992 to 1996.
