Samit Datta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and technology, currently serving as the Global Chief Supply Chain & Technology Officer at PGP Glass Pvt. Ltd. since December 2005. Datta has also held significant roles at Piramal Enterprises Ltd as Head of Global Supply Chain Management and at Piramal Glass Ltd as President of Corporate Supply Chain & IT. With a background that includes leadership positions at IBM Global Business Services and Pricewaterhouse Coopers Consulting, Datta has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, project management, and operations across various industries. Educational qualifications include an MBA from SPJIMR, a Senior Executive Leadership Program from Harvard Business School, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur. Datta is further enhancing knowledge through a Venture Capital & Private Equity Programme at the Indian School of Business.
