Allan McKay

Allan McKay has a diverse work experience in the geophysics industry. Allan worked for PGS as the VP Technology, New Energy since April 2021 and previously held positions such as VP 4D Technology & Business Development, Sales and Services from January 2019 to April 2021, Head of Survey Modeling, Operations from January 2018 to December 2018, Technical Manager, Commercialization from August 2011 to December 2017, Principal Geophysicist, Research and Development from January 2011 to July 2011, and Senior Geophysicist, Research and Development from June 2008 to December 2010. Prior to their time at PGS, they worked as a Research Geophysicist at the British Geological Survey from June 2004 to May 2008.

Allan McKay obtained a BSc and PhD in Geophysics from The University of Edinburgh, completing their education between 1995 and 2004. Allan has also obtained several additional certifications from Coursera, including "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure," "Executive Data Science Specialization," "Data Science in Real Life," "Managing Data Analysis," "A Crash Course in Data Science," and "Building a Data Science Team" in 2020.
