Volker Valentin

Volker Valentin has extensive work experience in various engineering and management roles. Volker is currently the Lead Design Engineer at PGT Innovations and has been in this position since 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Engineering Manager at WinDoor, Inc starting from 2015. Volker also worked as a Product Design Engineer at WinDoor Incorporated in 2014, and as a Designer/Estimator at Coastline Cabinetry from 2014 to 2015. Before these roles, Valentin held the position of COO at Creative Packaging from 2012 to 2014 and served as the Vice President of Operations at Seven D Industries from 2011 to 2011. Valentin's experience includes a long stint at Gorell Windows & Doors, where they held the role of Vice President of Operations from 1998 to 2010. Volker also worked as the President of a vinyl bending business called Specialty Shapes in 1997. Valentin's earlier experience includes serving as the Vice President of Manufacturing at Alside from 1996 to 1997 and as the Vice President of Engineering Services at Republic from 1994 to 1996.

Volker Valentin completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Clarkson University, from 1978 to 1983. In 2011, they obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Aveta Business Institute.
