Marisa Tashman Coppel

Marisa Tashman Coppel is a legal professional with extensive experience in the digital asset and blockchain sectors. Currently serving as Senior Product Counsel at Phantom since August 2025, Marisa previously held the position of Head of Legal at Blockchain Association, leading legal advocacy initiatives and fostering collaboration for digital assets from May 2022 to August 2025. Prior roles include Senior Counsel and Policy Counsel, where strategic litigation initiatives and policy advocacy were key responsibilities. Legal experience is further enhanced by positions at Covington & Burling LLP, serving as Associate, and a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
