PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the accounts receivable department, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of invoices, timely collections, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounts receivable process from invoice generation to collection.
  • Manage a team of accounts receivable professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collections and reduce outstanding receivables.
  • Review and reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and procurement, to resolve billing issues and disputes.
  • Prepare regular reports and analysis on accounts receivable aging, cash flow, and collection efforts for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline the accounts receivable process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in the [specify industry, if applicable] is a plus.
