Niel Hoglen

Niel Hoglen, PhD, DABT, serves as the President and CEO of Torrey Pines BioPharma Solutions, LLC, a position held since September 2019. As a board-certified toxicologist, Niel has a wealth of experience in toxicology, pharmacology, and drug development, with a consulting practice established in 2011 at Pharmaceutical Advisors LLC and prior self-employed consulting through Hoglen Consulting from 2009 to 2019. Niel's previous corporate roles include Senior Director and Head of Nonclinical Safety at Zafgen, Inc., and Associate Director of Pharmacology/Toxicology at both Palkion Pharmaceuticals and Aires Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, Niel held the position of Manager of Toxicology at Neurocrine Biosciences and served as Principal Scientist at Idun Pharmaceuticals. Niel earned a PhD in Toxicology from the University of Arizona and another PhD in Toxicology from the University of Kentucky.
