Norm Fletcher

Norm Fletcher has over 30 years of work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Norm started their career at American Express Canada in 1988 and held multiple roles in business planning, financial analysis, and accounting. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Canada Trust. Norm then returned to American Express Canada and took on roles as a Manager, Director, and Senior Manager, leading teams and being responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and analysis. In 2009, they joined President's Choice Financial and Services as a Director of Finance Operations, where they overhauled the accounting operations team. From 2013 to 2017, Norm worked as a Finance Director and Controller at McKesson Canada, leading the Ontario finance team and ensuring compliance with corporate financial policies. Norm then joined BMO Financial Group as the Head of Strategic Business, Financial Planning & Analytics for Enterprise Technology & Operations, where they led the design and implementation of business solutions. Currently, Norm is the Vice President of Finance and Planning at PharmaCielo, responsible for establishing and maintaining accounting principles and financial control systems, as well as preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

Norm Fletcher's education history begins in 1980 when they attended Sir Wilfrid Laurier Collegiate Institute and completed their high school education. Following this, from 1984 to 1987, they attended Centennial College and studied General Management & Business Administration, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Simultaneously, they pursued Accounting and Finance at Centennial College, graduating in 1988. In 2004, they attended Lisa Bove Associates to further develop their skills in Authentic Leadership. In 2006, Norm completed the Strategy program at Queen's University as part of the Queen's School of Business, Executive Education. Additionally, during the same year, they also attended The Ariel Group to enhance their Executive Presence. Finally, from 2007 to 2009, Norm Fletcher pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management at the Ivey Business School at Western University.
