Betsy Hoida

Betsy is a medical writer for Banner Medical, LLC. She is originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but now calls Green Bay, WI her hometown. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University in 2006. After that, she completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Mercy Health in Muskegon, MI. Betsy specializes in variety of therapeutic areas after earning her Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist in 2013. Her favorite areas to write about are women’s health, addiction, and mental health. In her free time, she can be found practicing yoga, gardening or dancing in the kitchen with her husband and two daughters.
