Sinem Tan

Sinem Tan has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Starting in 1997, they worked at Bilim İlaç as a Quality Assurance Engineer, supporting qualification and start-up activities for a new-built B-lactam derived products plant. Sinem then joined Kocak İlac as a Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Specialist, conducting correspondence for registered and under registration licensed products.

In 2002, Sinem joined Mustafa Nevzat İlaç as a Quality Assurance Supervisor, managing activities to meet quality standards. Sinem later became a Quality Assurance Manager, responsible for batch release, authority inspections, and coordinating recalls. Sinem also served as the Warehouses and Distribution Manager, overseeing warehousing and distribution activities in accordance with GMP requirements and leading lean transformation initiatives.

From 2015 to 2018, Sinem worked at Bilim İlaç again, this time as a Quality Assurance Manager. Sinem managed the QA function, led new product launches and technical activities, and managed a team of 40 people with 4 direct reports.

Since 2018, Sinem has been the Director of Quality Operations at Pharmactive Pharmaceutical.

Sinem Tan attended Terakki Vakfı Özel Şişli Terakki Lisesi from 1986 to 1992, where they studied Mathematics. Sinem then went on to Yildiz Technical University from 1992 to 1997, where they pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering.
